Toronto · six former cities, two price lines
Real estate sign post prices across Toronto
Toronto is still six cities when it comes to sign post pricing. The 1998 amalgamation joined Old Toronto, North York, East York, York, Etobicoke and Scarborough, and our price zones are still drawn by those districts, so we price a post at each former civic centre instead of quoting one number for the whole city.
The table below is pulled live from the same zone pricing the order form charges. If a district shows a different number, that's because it sits in a different zone, not because of a surcharge added at checkout.

Installing in Toronto: what to know
Your lawn, not the boulevard
Many Toronto front yards end well before the sidewalk, and the strip in between belongs to the City. We set the post on your seller's side of that line. Our by-law guide covers the size and placement rules if you want the details.
Semis, row houses and shared walks
Narrow frontages and shared walkways are normal here. Mark the spot on the photo of the house when you order and we place it there, or leave it to us and we pick the spot that reads from the sidewalk without blocking the walk.
Scarborough is priced on its own line
Scarborough sits in a different zone from the rest of the city, so it has its own price in the table. The order form always prices the exact address, so a street near a district edge gets the right number.
Placement rules: our sign by-law guide for Durham and Toronto.

Toronto sign post prices: FAQ
- Why does Toronto have more than one price?
- Our install prices are set by zone in our dispatch system, and the zones follow Toronto's former city lines. The table on this page checks each former civic centre live, so you see every price the city actually has.
- Is removal included?
- Yes. Every post is a rental that includes the install, your sign, removal at the end of the term and a photo confirmation.
- Can I get an exact price for my listing?
- Type the address into the order form. It prices that exact address with the same zone engine as this page, and shows the total before you pay.
- What if my listing runs past the rental?
- The post stays up. Posts include the first 90 days, then $15 every 30 days. Removal is still included whenever you request it.
